''Type A'' gasket. 3-5/8" big bore copper gasket. Type A gasket explained: The ''Type A'' gasket is the early type introduced on the 1984 Evolution Big Twin models; and can be used on all of the 84-99 Evo Big Twin models and will follow the contoures of the cylinder base perfectly. They will fit 86-22 Evo XL; but stick out at the cylinder base. Both type ''A'' and type ''B'' have identical inner bore diameter; oil hole and stud hole locations. Gaskets for front & rear cylinder are identical. Only difference between the ''A'' & ''B'' gaskets is the outside perimeter.

For Twin Cooled engines. This is a precision CNC machined oil pump in the S&S blue anodized finish. It offers 20% oil flow increase on the supply side and a 52% scavenge side increase with independent scavenge sections for flywheel cavity and cam chest with debris screens in both scavenge pickups. A magnet in the cam chest will help prevent debris from entering the pump. The pressure relieve valve is adjustable and adjustments can be made with oil pump in engine. Note: Does not fit models with air cooled (oil cooled) engines.
OEM reproduction hydraulic unit. Replacement for 17920-53A. Note: The early style hydraulic tappets sets can be purchased as a set (hydraulic unit + tappet body with roller) or as individual parts. When purchasing individual parts correct tolerance cannot be guaranteed; which can influence hydraulic function. Dealers with a larger stock can mix and match hydraulic units and tappet bodies to compose a set that offers excellent bleed-down times. For all others it is advised to go for a complete hydraulic unit and tappet body assembly from the same manufacturer; as S&S or JIMS offer. These are machined with the correct tolerance relative to each other to work correctly right out of the box.
