Pushrod sets are manufactured of 7/16" O.D. chromoly steel tubing with pressed-in and heat treated steel ends. This combination provides maximum strength and durability; regardless of performance application. Note: Stock cylinders are 5.550" with cylinder height specifications based on crankcases with stock Evo B.T. deck height. Note: Some large bore S&S engines have crankcases with a higher deck height and therefore shorter cylinders but stil may require the same length pushrods.

The 640 Easy Start gear driven cams provide the lift required to let this engine breathe but insures easy turn-over with stock starter & battery. With the great hydraulics found in the JIMS Power Glide tappets this kit is an excellent upgrade compared to any OEM or OEM style Shovelhead components. This kit has a 3/8" lower seat for the pushrods; reducing the pushrod to tappet angle. Includes a set of two 7075-T651 chrome plated billet tappet blocks and a set of 4 large bore Powerglide big axle tappets. The tappets are special extra wide .761" outside diameter JIMS Powerglide tappets. Therefore OEM .731" diameter Powerglide Shovel tappets are not interchangeable.
