Cometic”s AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material) gaskets are made with an aluminum core with a chemically blown compounded nitrile synthetic thin foam-like rubber layer bonded to both sides. Temperature resistance of over 250řF (122řC). AFM rubber has a 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. Re-torqueing gasket sealers or silicone beads are not required.
